Ordered Aluminium Door Stills and Plastic Boot Protector

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Welcome to my new thread.

I picked up my new TSI last week and simply loving it. I have had bad experience in the past with my boots. Few marks which were so difficult to remove, resulting in taking hit on the resale on them.

This time i didnt want to take any chance and spoke to the dealer regarding above mentioned bits and bobs.

I ordered skoda octavia's door stills as they make the car look nice and they might save from some scratches from my wife's heels.

I was interested in ordering the rubber boot liner however the dealer advised me to go for the plastic vessel protector as its like a tray and covers the walls of the boot as well. Moreover its 5 quid cheaper.

Ordered it on thursday and expected delivery is on Monday.

He also threw 10% discount on the order as well.

Door stills - £73

Boot Liner - £56

Any thoughts??

Is this the boot protector ?

Thats it!!

Personally I went for the rubber root liner - £60 and I prefer it but I have dogs in the back and their claws on the plastic would annoy me lol

That makes sense.. I was interested in the rubber one too. Is it reversible?? I am not sure how tough the plastic is.

Yes has a different pattern on the rubber on either side. Believe it can be used either way up, depending on your preference :)
