Hi all, very new and just ordered a Yeti that got switched into the FL model (result!). Am I being naive to think that if I have a build week of 45 I might see the car pre Christmas? 

Sorry, to clarify by just ordered I mean ordered 4 weeks ago!

Early January I would think.

A dealer I spoke to last week quoted 12 week build time - i.e. from order to delivery. I think that is optimistic, given Skoda's track record. I waited for over 6 months for my Fabia in 2011. Let's hope they have built in greater capacity for this new FL.

They are not starting the FL Yeti production until Week 45 so I'd be surprised if you were in that week. Particularly as I ordered mine 4 weeks earlier   and have never heard about a build date yet.

Naive question, but I'm assuming week 1 is the first week in January, and week 52 the last week in December, with no gaps for holidays etc?

Dealers are quoting 13-14 weeks at the moment, and apparently expecting the early orders (but not the demos) in December.

Thanks for the reply's... Your right its not week 45, as you say that's the switchover week. However, I have been told it is officially on the system as week 47, and the dealer is optimistic it could be pre christmas!

 

Looking forward to our first Yeti (although I wont get to drive it much).

I don't believe that!

Our Fabia Monte Carlo was built WK46 last year (a month sooner than expected by the dealer) and it arrived in the UK at the end of November; collected a week later.
