Right guys lets have a small meet to get things started and hopefully once faces are put to names with something small like this we can slowly move on to bigger things through next year.

Few of us are happy with newport spytty tescos as its under cover and has all the appropriate things like food, petrol and light. Like i said just a small meet to have a chat and a nose around the cars and put faces to names.

I know lewjo is waiting on his new car so will obviously wait for that. Im thinking November sat 23rd or sun 24th, this should give a decent bit of notice for members and time to decide on a definite date.

What are your thoughts guys?

Im happy with either date buddy. But I will defdo be there (unless I die)! But yeah.

Also both days I would say go for around 2.30 - 3. As boy ricers will be around in the night time. Ohhhhh, and we can go subway

Saturday the 23rd would be perfect but I can also do the sunday if that works out better for everyone else. Car should be here by then, if its not then not only will I be crying but I'll just have to come in the Yeti.

We dont care josh we arnt even if it is in the dreaded rival car lol.

Only issue with a sat around 3pm is thats when the car park is at its busiest so thats no good really. I think sunday will still be as busy. I was thinking tye best time may be 5-6ish on sunday as most of the shopers would of gone leaving the rear of the car park pretty empty. I may scope it out this weekend to see how it looks around that time.

I know the rear of the car park is usually pretty empty most times of any day. But what ever you feel is best dude

6 onwards the far end of the car park is pretty dead, other than the 'tuned' boy racers

Joe, maybe ask on the euro cartel forum about rhem joining us?

They come over every few months for a joint meet with newport edition i doubt they will travel over for something small.

No harm in the idea of a meet but in a Tesco car park? Bah. Could be combined with a drive along the back roads through to Redwick (Gwent), near Bishton, and lunch in the pub there. Perfectly good pub that one.

Yes the idea for this is the slowly build up to something better for next year when the weather is better. Im not going to arrange a drive in this type of weather it would be abit silly.

As I said in my opening post its purely to put names to faces. Hopefully doing it like this would make it feel more comfortable to do better things in the future like going for a sceneic drive to a nice pub. Im abit shy around new people and I know many others would find it awkward sitting down for a meal with a bunch of people they have never met before. This way its a nice ice breaker you can sort of go at a slower pace and hopefully make it easier for the next one amd the one after that.

Hope that makes sense.

I live in Griffithstown on the bottom road up from the spar its always parked out on the road if thats where you seen it. If it's driving just give me a flash or beep.

Oakley I think sunday afternoon would be best after everyone has had there cook dinner n all and just pop out for a couple hours.
