I want to purchase a new head, or even a second hand one to play with. Anyone got a part number for the 20 valve head with the fly by wire throttle?

Is it the same part number on mine as it is on the Audi TT 180 / 225, S3, all other VAG 1.8T engines? If it is then it makes it easier to source a donor rather than waiting for a RS or 4x4 to become available fromn a scrappy.

AUQ engine code also used on A3 1.8Tq,TT and some Golf's I believe.

20V heads are in short supply.

you could try www.cylinderheads.co.uk they don't normally deal direct with the public -- but they may do if you tell them that you were reffered by Dane Audi of Chester -- we never bought from them,but had quite an interesting chat with their MD - apparrantly they deal with loads of lease co's.
