After several weeks of test drives, evaluation of options and tryout "packing the car" (and becoming a father to a daughter for the first time :love: ) I have got the final quote from Skoda.

As I will buy this car through my company I'm just waiting for the final paperwork before placing the order.

I'm expecting 12-16 weeks delivery time.

Firstly let me offer my congratulations on becoming a father!

 

Now on to the car, expect it to take longer than 16 weeks, people with far less options than you are being told to expect to wait 6 months or more. The ACC and Lane Assist are a big issue at the moment. That aside enjoy your car when it arrives, great fun family car!

Hah, in exactly the same situation as you (including the awesome little girl!) and you have placed a very similar order as mine. I don't have the Webasto and the rear heated seats, but I have the Columbus and the Pano Roof. I also went for Race Blue, then I went and saw a white VRS estate and I liked it so much I changed my order to white as well. As a reference, I ordered Aug 27th and been told that delivery is on week 48 (end of Nov).

Same colour and engine as me. Expect closer to a 6 month wait with all of the options you have added.

The op has referred to the car as an 'RS' rather than a vRS which makes me think he might not be based in the UK and subject to the same long 6-month wait? Could be wrong tho lol!

That's correct. I live in Sweden, but I do know there are delays here as well with the ACC and Front Assistant.

The dealer told me 12-16 weeks but I believe it when I see it I'm not in a rush.
