i was driving last night and my skoda just cut out , do these superbs have a fuel cut off switch , it wont start sounds like fuel is not going through, can somebody help, is this common problem

If you have fuel in the tank then it could be something as simple as a fuse or more serious like a failed pump. I'd suggest getting the car read from a dealership as they should at least be able to tell you what is wrong with it.
