I'm a bit fed up of trying to keep the centre of the vRS seats clean so was thinking of replacing the seats front and rear. My question is which vehicles will be a straight swap if any, I want to keep the 3 x 3 rear belts. Leather would be nice but not essential. Not bothered about door cards as they can be retrimmed cheaply.

I had my seat centres and door cards re trimmed in leather so that's an option but there's a lot of other seats available as a straight fit,people have used golf/bora,seat Leon,Audi a3 etc but not sure on which if any retain the same seat belt set up.

Cheers dsmithmobile thought of getting the centre parts retrimmed but I reckon that would cost more than new seats. Looking at mk4 golf full black leather heated would be nice.

I have some Golf Recaro fronts. Working on getting rears when the guy gets around to shipping them from Christchurch!

 

 

They are heated with airbags, none of which are connected.

I have the Mk4 Cloth Recaros but would like the leather, the R32 seats would fit and look awesome.

I've got a full set of Mk4 leather Recaros in mine. Same as Robs but I've got the rear seats in too. :p bloody nice!

Mine were sitting in a garage in Auckland for 2 years waiting on a project that didn't happen. Need to pull them out again and sort out the surface rust on the bases.

Yes they do. Only got a couple of pics of them.

Mine are an earlier set and have a lapbelt instead. But hasn't ever bothered me!

Got to have 3x3 belts for my kids wouldn't like lap belt for them

One option would be to get a set of seats from a Laurin and Klement, they had either full leather or leather with suede/Alcantara inner panels.  They were heated and electric too.  They were available in either black or a funny kind of dirty yellow mushroom colour, sadly the black is far less common...

Forgot to say, they don't have the deep side bolsters that the vRS has though.

yeah mondy1975 I have considered the l&k ones but they're rarer than hens teeth mate. I may have a deal on the cards wife and funds permitting.
