Superb-2 pre-FL 1.8 tsi debadging

Featured Replies

I know many people do not like changing the badges to the new ones and removing branding but here you go.

I think that the colour of the new badges matches my car colour (steel grey) better than green.

Below is the rear (before and after) and the front (after):

Looks tidy, I like the new badges.

The only thing that puts me off changing them all would be the steering wheel badge, I'm not sure if you can replace that without the whole steering wheel coming out.

Looks good. How'd you take the old ones off, and what did you use to stick the new ones on?

Nice. Where did you get the Skoda logos circles from and how did they fix?

My local dealer installed the new round badges. The ones you need to order are for the Citigo. You need 2 rear ones (so that they are flat) for fitting to the pre-fl superb. Cost is £10.83 per badge.

For the alloy wheels and, maybe, the steering wheel I will probably use gel stickers as I did for my mondeo before.

It looks great. By the way, Does anyone have an idea where to find new logo for steering wheel?

I ordered some 55mm gel ones for the alloy wheels. Will try one of those for size and if ok I will use them for the steering wheel too.

Hi,

The steering wheel ir rather solid. You will damage the airbag trying to remove as it's held by bent metal hooks onto the airbag cover...

Does that mean this happened to you?

How did you remove the TSI and Superb letters?

Used dental floss for removing the badge and then glue remover for removing the sticky residue

  • 2 months later...

Is it easy to take off the old bumper and boot badges?
