Old gear knob was looking a bit sorry for itself - all worn and a small hole in the gaiter.

So, I found a replacement on eBay for £17.99 delivered so decided to give it a go. It's not a genuine part but from the pic it looked ok.

Quite chuffed with it. The chrome part isn't the same quality as the genuine article and the gaiter frame is a tad clumsy but it's pretty good for the price.
