Code 17705

Featured Replies

Ok I know there is the thread for this code but mine has come up as 17705 pressure drop between throttle valve p1297 intermittent.

I have checked and cleaned my throttle body fitted a new gasket to. Checked the pipe work for splits and signs of fatigue all seem fine recently fitted a new divertor valve from tps checked the surge tank on top for damage. Thinking it's something little or not as drastic as listing as intermittent any other thoughts?

Have you checked the small vac pipes underneath the inlet manifold? They can often split and throw up all sorts of codes.

Yes as stated above all the small vacuum pipes around the inlet manifold are prone to splitting & S pipe under the manifold is a prime suspect for 17705.

This pretty much covers it. http://uk-mkvs.net/forums/p/170257/1115840.aspx#1115840
