WRC replica spoiler

Last one for today guys!!

You may have seen it recently on eBay, it's in silver but needs paint on the top section were it meets the uprights

Tempted to get that section wrapped in grey stickerbomb to be honest

Anyway, for those that have one fitted how did you secure it to the bootlid, it has a couple of holes on the underside so self tapping screws but I'm not confident it will stop in place, would the likes of tigerseal be up to holding it in place?

Any advice appreciated...

Thanks

Jason

Is it like this one?

I had 4 holes in mine that actually lined up quite well with the std VRS spoiler holes. Just a little filing out of the holes.

No way would i just rely on screws as spoiler is quite heavy and may also move chip paint  with driving. I used tiger seal around screw holes and along the base to stick it in place. Now it won't ever move. I will have to replace boot with Spoiler lol.

Mine is similar to yours, the only difference is the bottom section which fastens to the boot lid is wider, 4 holes however 2 are smaller diameter so I'm assuming put in as extras at some time...

Tiger seal it is then :-)

Thanks for the reply...

I fitted mine the same way

After 4.5 years no problem with the paint
