Nice. Do you know when yours was built? How long did you have to wait for it?

The dealer had it in stock, I went in on the off chance as I had in mind a Red one thinking that all Black would be too much, the dealer had just wheeled it into the showroom as soon as I saw it I changed my mind and it had to be a Black Edition (1.2 TSI). So I saw it on the 18th November and picked it up on the 25th November, probably could have had it quicker but I had parking sensors fitted.

 

I was wondering when it was built, are there any plates on them where that sort of information would be visible?

Well, despite being told they had one ready for me to ship from Germany, I am now told that mine was only built last week and is now being moved to Germany. But, at least I know its a new build so should have ESC and it hasn't been sat for weeks in a yard. 

 

I am guessing it wont be with me within a week though! 

We've just picked ours up (black tech MC). It has both Maxi dot and you can then the ESC off.

Can I ask, should it have the aux input? Do they come with mats as standArd? And also do they come with cruise control (ours hasn't)!! and the leads for the MDI? I'm sure when we looked at the one in the showroom it had cruise and aux as standard on the black tech MC?!

Leads for the MDI have a look in the top glove box. If not there ask dealer for it. As for AUX input no you don't get one with satnav as you can use an SD card for music. No cruise on monte tech or aux

i didn't actually buy the tech model, but i had the tech spec fitted.. and i have sat nav and maxi dot.. so I'm guessing that yes it will. 

I have the tech with Amunsden+ unit....it has SD and AUX.

The car should come with a 32pin apple lead for MDI

i don't think there was much difference.. i can't remember off hand, but i got the deal of 0% VAT
