I might be having a power run done later as my brother in law has booked his van in somewhere for a map after driving mine as he's got a shocking generic one on. Going to ring them at 9 and find out price and availability to do a power run

I have a funny story about launch control!

Was speaking to a guy who said his ctr had launch control...

Says if you rev it then it sits at 6k (his idea of launch control)

Had to explain that it sits at 6k as it doesn't engage vtec / lift cam in neutral

He didnt get it and looked perplexed! (I thought it was funny)

wont it be kinder on the clutch because it limits the torque and the rpm untill your're over a certain speed. so the clutch will be fully engaged before the power comes in so wont be slipping.

I've also had my mad done by Fabroka.  Mine was all done over email and i really can't say how happy i am with mine.  The guy puts zoo much effort into stuff.  My 1st map was a little too harsh so i told him its undrivable so he tweaked it and sent it back over.   I really am genuinely impressed with it.  Super helpful guy, very efficient and best of all, awesome map.  4 of my mates want my map off me because mine smokes less than theirs and has smoother power delivery. Hahahahah they can't have it, i've told them where to get it though and 2 of them have bought it and, like me, their super impressed.  He gets my vote every time.

Think I'll be looking in the direction of a faboka map very soon!

Yeah Liverpool mate. Not down the road from me either, but was a good excuse to test the map on the drive back ;-)

Still get 50mpg so only down slightly but I think I've got a slight boost leak off the top pipe as my mpg went down after I did the timing belt which was a tankful before the remap

Yeah used to be £75 for file service an £125 if you go to him.

 

The files on the site are for hybrid turbo's so that's why there more expensive.

 

Maybe message him through Ebay or he may be along soon.
