"Specialists"

Is this heavily modded?

Nope

Points / penalties / young drivers / high mileage / high crime rate area?

Seems a high price to me if the answer to all of the above is 'no'..........

I just went with Chris Knott. 0 points, 0 penalites, 29, average miles, low crime area i think, 2 additional drivers (neither young) £300 for octy vrs 3. Oh and same NCB as yourself.

Wow, over £3.5k on 9+ years NCB? Plucked from thin air if you ask me. Makes you wonder if they really want your business.

A Rochdale postcode won't do you any favours mate...

Yeah this is what sky insurance said, the OL postcode is a batch but still, 26yr old, 9yrs ncb, 1 accident not my fault, no points ever, 10000 miles per year

Prices just seem excessive

Not getting it even if they do want my business lol

I always had flux, green light & chris knott down as specialists in modified cars?

Also hot hatches

Have you tried the quotes with an older person - like your mum - on? When I was younger that usually bought the prices down a bit and my mum does occasionally need to borrow a car lol.

For some reason I found Diamond the cheapest for my insurance. I'm 23 with an accident last year and I've managed to insure my Fabia VRS for around £300 on Admiral multi car. I was with Admiral on previous cars and found them the cheapest but also very helpful on the phone. Worth pointing out I managed to get a better deal first by getting a quote from them through Compare the Market first.

Chris knott £1500

I have my dad on my policy anyway as a second driver incase his work van is unavailable but he usually uses my mums car. Hes only used my car twice in 3 years

Greenlight cant insure me lol

Chris knott said in my postcode that the car needs to be on a driveway or in a garage

Perhaps you need to move a NATO base in your part of town? :D

Rochdale is scary... but not as bad as Bradford.

Try a BD9 post code :p

Guy here lives in a 'nice' part of BD9, he's 55ish, a stack of NCB, runs a bog standard Passat TDi on a 57 plate and pays around £1500.

I lived in Bradford for a while and it was £1500 to insure my Cordoba, dropped to £700 when I moved to Halifax, if I put my mums post code in Wales in... £250!

Going from my Grp 5 Cordoba to a 2010 vRS would cost me £50. If I got a 2010 Mini Cooper S, my insurance would be £70 less...

Pure madness.
