Does any one know where i can get a wide mouth front bumper for a 2004 fabia vrs

 

What's one of those when they are at home? Do you have a pic as an example? I have no idea of course, just curious. 

You dont buy them you make them. . .

Take the reg plate plinth off, cut out the plastic behind it. . Cover the gaping hole with mesh. . .

Personally I dont like the look, but each to there own. . .obviously a good idea when running a massive front mount as seen in this photo.

Before you do it think about what you'll do with the crash bar.

 

If you are going to leave it alone, covering a fair percentage of the big intercooler it's not going to be incredibly effective.

Unless you are just doing it for looks.

 

Some remove the crash bar or make holes in it to increase the airflow which obviously leads to the usual bun-fight in the mk1 Fabia section as it's removing or reducing the effectiveness of crash bracing apparently...

 

In my opinion, having a big mouth bumper and a crash bar visible looks completely pointless.

But each to thier own.

There is actually a good guide on how to do this yourself in the Fabia Mk1 Section.

Surely not arguing and differing opinions on the internet, what is the Mk1 forum coming too!

I cut a section out of the front of the crash bar. The rear already has hole in it. Still plenty strong and would do its job.
