I have just noticed my new VRS has its drivers side headlight very badly out of adjustment. (aiming high)

Could some some please indicate which of the adjusters lowers the light?

Is this easy to do?

And...

Could I have the measurements they need to be set to? i.e. Measured at a short distance to a garage door on the level etc.

If it's new, your dealer should re-align it for you.

If that's not possible, the adjusters are white 6 m.m. allen key headed screws. Twiddle them until the driver's light is on the same line as the passenger's side.

I understand this. However the car was bought via. a dealer 100 miles away.

The process of booking in for adjustment etc. Is just too much hassle.

I just need a little more detail on which adjuster it is, together with the

measurements. ANY OFFERS PLEASE?

(I will probably do the job better that the dealer !)

take it to another skoda dealer closer to you if there is one, your warranty isn't dealer specific i don't think.

Maybe the bulb isn't sitting correctly in the holder? Might be worth a quick look.

My car came from a dealer in Derby & I've had warranty work & service done by my local dealer, which is 150 miles from Derby.
