ah no! I don't have an arm rest!! so does this mean its a dif radio??

The arm rest included an aux in socket under a little square cap. If not present it can be retro fitted. If your radio is the standard Stream it can be either a Stream or Stream MP3. I understand the mp3 version allows a simple upgrade the non mp3 needs an aftermarket kit.

I have the mp3 type. I used three 0.1 inch socket clips, a length of cable with three wires and a 3.5 mm stereo socket. All from maplin. There are pins available on the back if the radio for right, left and earth aux in and you just insert your new wires into the socket. Helpfully, the radio has a sticker with all the pins described.

If you don't want to make a cable they are available on eBay for 20 quid. Other kits make use if the CD changer pins and I hear cost 100 but offer more functionality.
