Vrs head light relay location

Featured Replies

Hi,

Got an odd problem-one of a few I may add. When I drive with the dipped beam and the switch to full by pushing the stalk away from me I get full beam, but when I switch back to dipped my lights go out! I work shift so have a lot of nite time driving. Am hoping it's the relay. Where is the headlight relay located? Thanks

Supa

Ps in case you were wondering about my other problems, the horn doesn't work, neither does the drivers and recently the passenger side door locks. They are both very temperamental and recently the passenger one stop working. Just got the car a month ago!

There is no relay - it's most likely to be the stalk.

Check the connections are still attatched to the horn. Attach a meter to see if you get 12V when you press the horn. There is a horn relay on the relay plate behind the driver side lower dash.

Door lock problems are not uncommon. It could be faulty connections behind the lower 'A' pillar trim. It coud also be broken wires where they pass from the pillar to the door.
