Recently purchased a new FABia sport 05 plate, a cracking car an ex demo and a really impressive motor.

Was to be used by my partner mainly, she loves it :P

We drove many similar cars, polo, ibiza, fiesta, etc etc and it was light years ahead on every aspect, great urban style and a real nice balance of refinement and feedback.

Picked the car up this week and ran it for 50 miles in the evening, we we're so impressed we went back to the dealer to see if we could swap it for the vRS they were very helpful, said no problem and even knocked some cash of the vRS.

So we are now taking delivery of a gorgeous silver FABia vRS this saturday and I can't wait, what a fantastic car.

Total convert... Can't wait to stick 2 fingers up at the badge snobs either, well a stainless tailpipe anyway

Heard of the Horseshoe Pass? My old car managed to negotiate ALMOST all of it. Came a cropper on the descent to Llangollen.

1.4 Octavias aren't as slow as they should be

They go round corners better than Fabias

Lift off oversteer is a bad thing

The world must look very funny to Australians

Llandudno? I don't even know where F'ing Llandudno IS?!

Lift off oversteer is pretty harsh mate yeah! :( especially when one may have accidentally dabbed the brake mid corner too.... Still not sure if I did or not.

edit: Yes I did walk away - Not a scratch on me too!
