Cold Air

Featured Replies

Hello Forum,

Not sure if this is normal for my Skoda, but have noticed that while l am driving even with the heaters on, there seems to be cold air coming in around the bottom of radio, top of centre tray not sure how long it has been doing it, but it is noticeable due to the change in the weather.

I can feel it on my hand when changing gear, or place my hand there, it is not rushing through just like a draught?

Might it be a rubber bung or something missing on the bulkhead?

Thank you for any advice in solving this problem!

If you direct hot air through the centre vents does the draught get warm!?

To be honest have not tried messing with vents or anything, will give it a go next time l am out in the car

It wont help you but my 54 plate does the same. I'm trying to get the heater fixed at the mo as it's fubar'd and i cant figure out how, but i'd be interested to see if you get an answer.

My car does this too (2006 petrol vrs hatchback) and I only ever notice it when turning a corner, so be interesting to find out if there is a fix.

Snap mine is an 06vRS petrol
