hi im thinkinf of buy a rns 510 i dont know if it a columbus or not. it is a second hand stereo, here s a picture 

ok now this is a second hand stereo he was installing this on theirs octavia rs on he year 2007 (with 8 speakers). so this is not a new stereo

now i have the stereo installed called Stream  and wondering if i can fit this stereo with showing climate info and everything like gps for example . 

my car is a octavia mk2 elegance 2006

Yes, that is a Columbus and will be a straight swap. You'll also need a GPS aerial, these can be obtained very cheaply from ebay.

 

However, also do a search of this forum for battery drain because depending on the age of your car you may end up having to upgrade your canbus gateway as well.

must be a dynavin then , i found this rns 510 in a good price and he used this good in he´s car octavia rs 07 well well 

There are now software fixes for the battery drain that Mannyo and Mike mention with newer firmware. A couple of members on here have got around the drain with modified newer firmware, but it depends on the unit. Do you see a part number on it?

Yes it should be on the stereo.  Beginning 1z0 or 3t0 and there should also be a 4 digit software number.
