Seam sealer in spare wheel well .

Featured Replies

Hi all , just joined the forum after lurking for ages  , done the introduction thread bit .

I am picking up a 2010 Superb Se Hatch tomorrow which I intend to use for my airport transfer work . One thing I noticed when looking it over was that the seam sealant in the spare wheel well to the back panel is not very neat at all.

I dont think it has had a repair but I am ex motor trade and was always told to look at how neat the sealer was to indicate a panel replacement IE a panel beater cannot reproduce what a robot can in production.

I suspect that they dont finish it off properly cos its out of sight but does anyone know if thats correct?

Thanks
