It makes you wonder what he would have been like on todays bikes with super sticky tyres, the bike is obviously slower but the cornering speed he achieves is pretty amazing & this is around 10 years after he originally retired from racing, on a dealer bike up against young guns,  some on works bikes.

 

Im old enough / lucky enough to have seen him on the same bike at Silverstone, you could spot him when the pack came towards you, he just seemed to lean a bit more & so so smooth

When Mallory was in its old guise without the chicanes and extra bits to slow the bikes down.

I too saw him at Silverstone, maybe mid sixties? Not sure exactly, I was only a kid.
