Hi all...I have a 56 plate tfsi vrs and recently it has felt a bit flat up to 3k rpm at which pint you get a big surge of turbo...it has only just started doing this and I have noticed I can hear a whistle whine noise on boost....it is completely stock...could it be the DV which has never been replaced or worse...?

anyone else had a similar issue? the boost feels like a switch is flicked at 3k rpm but not alot goes on before hand and I can defo hear a whine....almost sounds like a supercharger (albeit a very quiet one!) like I say this has only just started to happen
