Had a nice misfire this morning :D ran a scan and cylinder 4, moved the coil pack and the misfire went with it.

Moved it to cylinder 2 and the misfire moved but 4 still kept having the odd miss, Swapped the coilpack on 2 for one of my old spares, still missing. Tried one of my bolt downs (closed the gap down to suit) all ok again. So the verdict for 2.0t mk6 coil packs is they are also susceptible to being 5h!t.. May just go back to using the hitachi's. Not sure why 4 kept having misfires until no 2 was swapped but all good now.

While I was at it I thought, ok it's not p1ssing down so I will swap my crank breather pipe as there was a nice split in it. Have had the new one in the door pocket for weeks :D. Turned into a nightmare job as it just started to fall apart.

Had to break the metal bit out from the crank case and then suck out the bits with a bit of hose taped to the dyson!

While I had the pipes out I noticed this split too so went to VW and they want £19.95 for the small pipe under the manifold now? So went to motor factors and got a length of 10mm fuel line. Only needed a small piece to fix it as I had cut the original to fit the extra check valve.
