Good news for once

After the Mad Wife wrote her Quashqai off, not her fault at all fortunately ( 1 month ago this coming Tuesday ) and having to go through the usual rigmarole of insurance claim etc, we discovered she had GAP ( didn't realise tbh, we don't usually bother ).

 The insurance co. were very good ( Sheilas Wheels ) and sorted out the claim within 2 weeks, enabling her to buy a used Honda CRV ( very nice btw ) at very little cost to ourselves.

 Gap phoned her yesterday to say that her claim had been finalised, and she would have some money bank transferred within 48 hours. So this morning she had much more than we expected in her account...

 All sorted within less than a month, and all taken into account, she could have replaced her Quashqai (fully loaded, with every extra, including Xenons ) like for like, but with the new facelifted model, at no cost to ourselves at all.

 If our local Nissan dealer weren't so absolute garbage, we would have done, but hey ho, the Honda is lovely, and for once a satisfied insurance claimant.
