I was looking at getting rid of the Superb V6 to get something a bit more economical. I was looking at some 5 year old supercharged RRs on LPG but decided I'd rather not have a RR out of warrenty.

I test drove a VRS today (petrol. I wanted a diesel)

Drove very nicely, very similar to the Superb, but a bit firmer. Not bad though, the inside is a much nicer place to be, it feels much more up to date.

When we got back to the dealer, I ordered one. Spec as follows:

White TDI Manual Estate

Anthracite Gemini wheels

Red stitching

And options:

Towbar prep

Leather

Heated seats

Heated screen and nozzles

Cruise control

Not a particularly exciting spec, but got a good deal on it. Should get it around February

Hold to march for residuals and new plate, only a few weeks if it comes on time that is.
