rear Parking sensor beep volume

Featured Replies

Anyone know if you can increase the parking sensor beep default volume. Mine seems a little low when the radio has been played a little louder than normal?

Don't you put it in reverse (so the parking sensors are activated) then use the volume controls to make it louder?

? My radio mutes when reversing... bit annoying.

Yes Dobbey but when you come out of reverse you get blasted with the music. Would  be better to have a higher default for the beeps.

I found that there is a volume setting on the Radio under PDC.

PDC - sets the reduction of the volume when the park distance control is active
? PDC VOL ATTENU 0 - no volume limit
? PDC VOL ATTENU 1 - medium level volume limit
? PDC VOL ATTENU 2 - low level volume limit
? PDC VOL ATTENU 3 - mute

I switched the PDC volume to Mute. However this has caused a problem? When my missus is in the car I now have her going on and on 'your very close this side or that'. Should have left the radio volume on full blast and just looked at the PID graphics????
