Hi all,

ive registered my road angel and recieved an email stating it will be registered ok in 24hrs, this time has passed, do i get another email stating it is now definately registered and active?

i have tried to install the software and when i click the syncronise button it comes up

error 0 occured

any help would be very welcome

The error you get, is it when the RA2 connects to the server? AFAIK it will phone home ok but halt when it varifies the subs using the serial number.

yeah when you connect it to your computer via the usb the unit comes on, i then open up the update programme and click it to start downloading but nothing happens then the error code appears :confused:

yeah tried it a few times, sadly

although i couldnt follow the instructions at page 7 here (adobe req)

as my comp didnt show what they were asking for :confused:

Ive had a similar problem installing the software for mine :( Luckily though it works fine on my partners pc! Mine conks out installing the software with a wierd comcat.dll cant be registerd as its protected....

doing my head in! found it on device manager under the USB universal seriel bus controllers. continued with the instructions and added the drivers but says i already have the most uptodate ones.....tried again but still error 0 appearing

I would say that is a USB problem. What OS do you have?

If win XP can you roll back using system restore?

Wind it back to before you first installed the SW.

I'm not sure about the RA2 but many devices want you to install some SW before plugging in the cable.

Just looked at the RA2 instructions andI reckon you're not getting the USB driver in so it's not seeing the unit.

Install the update SW first then when you plug in you should get the found new HW wizard.

right, started from square one and installed everything again, including the drivers.

still no joy.....error 0 occured

My RA2 didn't come with software, so I downloaded it from the RA2 site and everything worked fine. Try their software and see what happens....

thanks for the advice mate but ive already tried the stuff that came with it and the stuff on the website.

Try using another USB port.
