Tarox 6pot calipers

Featured Replies

I have some tarox 6pots they just fit under 16" wheels at the moment I have 312mm disk just wounding if I could fit bigger disk under a 16" wheels as the calipers can take 330mm disk

I don't think there's much more room. The Cupra 323s need 17s

I'd say yes. Your caliper sticks out further than the disk would... So I don't see why not mate? Maybe that's just my 3am logic gone wrong.

As Charlie has mentioned that's what I am running with my 17" spiders no need for spacers either, which I was pleased about. I'm running the Tarox f2000 discs which are the same size as the LCR discs 323mm. And they work WELL.

I have seen yours on Instagram look good but I want now if I could use bigger disk on 16" wheels the calipers fit under so I can't see it matters what disk you use as long as they fit the caliper

Am I missing something here?

The calipers stick out further than the disc, so if the calipers will take bigger discs they should fit?

^ Thats what I was thinking. Didnt want to say anything incase I looked stupid  :D

All you'd need to know is how much clearance is still left in the caliper for a bigger disc isn't it ?

I kind of new they would just wanted make sure before I go and spend £250 on disk to find they don't fit :)

Did they come with 312mm adapters like? I know nothing about tarox stuff

Sent using Tapatalk, like a bawsss!

I have a question mostly triggered by curiousity ... given the standard calipers are single piston floating, which reduces the space needed for the caliper on the outside of the disk and therefore enables the wheels to have an offset that allows them to be positioned further inboard, is there enough space with standard wheels for 4-pot or 6-pot calipers? If not, how much wider do the wheels need to be or, rather, how much less offset is required?

Yeah 6pots do fit under standard 16" Vrs wheels

It's toit like a tiger yesh!

Fair play Dav vrs, learn something new every day lol didn't think they would fit tbh.

Nice job. How much space is there for the wheel weights?

They are very close indeed :)

To run a bigger disc id assume you would need different adaptors? It wont be a case of just swap the disc size as you like, surely?
