Tarox 6pot calipers

Featured Replies

So did 323mm discs go straight in these Tarox calipers that were using a 312mm disc?

Or are different caliper mounting brackets required?

What calipers are these can anybody tell me a code or something as I'm after a set for my fabia?

Thanks

The post above yours tells you the caliper code.

I got these brakes with 323mm discs

Yeah 6pots do fit under standard 16" Vrs wheels

Looks very good

2 things that would worry me

Heat from brake disc, distort alloy / damage paint?

And surely you'd get a lack of airflow / space to dissapate heat??

Just a thought

I have a friend who's runs these on a 500bhp Honda civic (turbo) and he has no such problems apart from traction till 120mph

But that doesn't answer nor have anything to do with the questions that Jase asked though does it?

no but same brakes same size wheels work it out m8

The wheels are different shape and offset's, so what maybe true for one wheel may not be correct for the other wheel. So compassion between them is just silly.....m8

500bhp 16" wheels same callipers and same size disc bugger the offset if that don't get to hot or damage the paint on the wheels ect im sure the won't get to hot on a fabia

I think you will find the shapes and the size of spokes will have a lot to do whether the wheel will get hot or not, thin spokes with less of them will make for much better airflow than wider spokes with more of.them i'm not denying the brakes will cope just fine on the Fabia with less power albeit a heavier car, the fact you chose to compare two completely different ends of the spectrum and still compare them on a like for like basis is just stupid.
