Another vRS

Hi all,

Well after a huge deliberation on colour (black magic, corrida red, race blue or candy white) we've ordered the following:

vRS hatchback tdi manual with anthracite gemini wheels.

Extras:

Brilliant silver

Colour maxidot

Amundsen

Electric sunroof

Leather with silver stitching

Cruise control (standard)

Canton

Might be a little conservative for some but hopefully will look pretty classy.

Not gone for the black pack as I wanted the colour coded wing mirrors and can always get the grille surround later.

It's our first new car and after spending a previous afternoon at Audi the deal and the dealer were a breath of fresh air and they even threw in a bit of a discount too.  Very happy.

Cheers

I've gone for brilliant silver with silver gemini alloys and black pack.

Hoping for the "classy" look too, black pack adds a slightly more sporty touch.

Never been keen on coloured alloys but look nice on candy white.

Also prefer silver stitching inside on this colour exterior.

Any other thoughts?

Shoud have gotten the black pack, vRS' need it, espcially the hatch as it doesn't much differenct from the normal octavia....

That's in your opinion if course...

Zzap, congrats on your order! Now the wait begins...!

Thanks for the replies guys, quite a few variations there, be nice to see them in the flesh.

I've checked out the configurator and I quite like the black grille so may order that but keep the wing mirrors.

Cheers

Well thanks for pointing the blindingly obvious, give yourself a pat on the back.

Not necessarily obvious from the way you wrote it. Could be taken either way....just saying.....in my opinion.

Eh? How could it have been taken in any other way other than my opinion?  Was there some implication it was a scientific fact or some sort of legal requirement to have the black pack?

So you deliberated over the white, black, blue and red and then disregarded all of them?!

Colour choice is hard with the Octavia - the blue is my favourite, but it is too popular for my tastes.  Silver will look nice.  Number plate surrounds will also help you differentiate your model from non-vRS' - £14.99 on Amazon (no, I don't work for the seller!).

Hehe yeah, that's about how it went.  It's been tough. :whew:

Doesn't help that there are so few vRS hatches out there so I guess it's a safe

option but well done to any guinea pi... err... colour pioneers out there! :)
