Mk2 estate bootlid on Mk1?

Featured Replies

This may be an obvious question to people in the know, but will a mk2 estate bootlid fit my mk1 estate?

Mine has gone all rusty!

Definitely not.

Thank you, problem solved.

Anybody else have problems with rusty bootlids on Mk1 Octavia estates? I haven't seen any others as bad as mine!

I believe it was something to do with the number plate holes not being sealed or something, then the Skoda dealer repaired it badly and it got worse.

So, I need to source a mk1 estate bootlid if anybody knows of any? Ideally in that Blue/green colour (I don't know the name of the colour off top of my head).

There was an issue with the rear screen being mounted to low so it rubbed the paint off along the bottom of the screen. My old car had this problem, and at the corners of the trim above the number plate.
