I turned the mirror switch to the heat mode and it jumped past and wen't to facing nothing? Is it meant to do this or is something wrong?

Same here. Its like the symbol is in the wrong position.

+1 and I found it odd too. The switch that also operates folding mirrors works differently and like you might expect in that it stops precisely at the heater symbol. Perhaps because there is also an extra position for the folding operation that sits between 7 and 8 o'clock which would be very close to the 9 o'clock position our switches use.
