Not the bushes but the geometry, and a known issue with the Octy and covered extensively on this site.

 

Find a good laser geometry specialist to set the car up properly before your Hankooks go the same way as your Dunlops.

 

If you're ever up in Edinburgh, I use CLCM (2 mins from the end of the M8) to do mine every time I swap my summer Dunlops for winter Nokians. My tyre wear is even throughout and the car handles like its on rails.

Thanks. I'd had it done on a hunter laser machine in wigan (nearest one to me)when I first got the car in Jan/Feb as I'd read about it. It was fine a little bit out on one side but was corrected to be in tolerance. The wear is only about 1 to 2 mm but noticeable.

Make sure the values are spot on, not just within tolerance.

 

Alternatively it could be because there was already uneven wear that had occurred already, before you'd had chance to get things sorted.

Beginning to think it wasn't quite right as the 4 tyres were brand new. Having said that I would be changing them anyway in a couple of thousand miles as they were approaching 3mm depth left. But still, I had the tracking done to prevent this type of uneven wear.

Then if you're sure the alignment is good, replacement tyres will sort the issue.
