Since bagging a 2011 Superb Estate at Birtley Car Auctions a week ago I thought it time to join up and make my introductions. Having owned a V8 Land Rover Discovery for the past 4 years I was unsure what to replace it with but in the Superb I've found the answer. Its surprisingly lively for 140 horsies so am doubtful I'll want to tinker if only to avoid another 3 points. I find SE trim level almost luxurious and the previous owner kindly fitted a top-end Kenwood Sat-Nav/multi-media device which is a nice extra. I've just got my hands on some 17" winter tyres which I think I'll fit to the black 'pimped' alloys which came with the vehicle. I'll invest in some shiny new alloys next spring. One question I have relates to the auto-box: Does it have a winter setting and can the traction control be switched off? OK, make that two questions! Very grateful for any pointers.
