See you at Bathurst !!!!

And me can't wait, will keep me busy over the Xmas break.

Anybody played yet ???

Feels really good on the DS3, need to break out the wheel asap.

Some nice new touches, indicator when someone is near and friend leader boards on the licence tests.

Christmas is coming... ;)

Once I sort out a TV I'll buy a copy. I've moved in with my uncle and aunt so its all a bit awkward until I find my own place. Plugged my ps3 into my PC screen via HDMI but being as there's no speakers I have no sound. Tried putting the sound through a turtle beach but doesn't work. Looks like I'll have to buy a TV.

Aint no forza.

My copy will be arriving tomorrow and i can't wait :D :D

Eat me ...

Aint no forza.

Yeah, you can get the decent cars without paying a small fortune for them for a start.

And what's the joy in that? The reason why I like GT is that you have to work 'hard' for the top cars.

When I had Forza games it was just too easy and I lost interest easy after I got the race cars etc.

Getting my copy this week, we should set up a Brisky race league or something!

You misunderstand. In GT6 the best cars need a decent amount of work but they are achievable. In Forza 5 there's a lot that's almost completely out of reach without paying loads to unlock them.

I do apologise! Must have misunderstood indeed!

*cough*

Jaguar XJ13, which costs 20 million credits. You can grind for it in traditional Gran Turismo fashion or you can buy it straight away if you drop £119.95

Wait, what!?!

Well that's different from the old forza games on Xbox 360!?

Who on earth would do that!

The only thing I like about forza is the sound, GRAN T cars all sound like lawnmowers.

I got my copy on Friday, although only got around to play on Sat. I got this week off to put some GT6 time in, but I am also doing house and Xmas jobs.

Think of GT6 like GT4 was to GT3.   Not a massive improvement from GT5 but lots of tweeks to make it better and there are LOADS of tracks.  Plus if this GPS course maker thing comes off, it is going to be great.

Yes the sounds are poor, just like every other GT game.  I also bought a X360 for Forza 4, and the sounds are great on Forza.

There are some great little 'Coffee Breaks'. I had loads of fun seeing how far I could drive a GTR race car on 1 litre of fuel. When flooring it you can just see the fuel go! (I feel for you Boss Fox ;) )

If they deliver on updates and track DLC like they promissed on GT5, I think GT6 will be around for quite a while.  Now where is that moon buggy....

My wife had a GT6

Well I can say I do prefer gt6 from gt5 all round better game. The menus are a lot easier to use and I like the fact how you can only enter a race bellow a cirtain pp.

Got the aniversery xar packs with my preorder and there are some good cars in there. Still ashame no skodas in the game.

I'm not really sure what to make of GT6. Is it just me, or do the physics seem to be made over realistic? I find the cars roll over when they wouldn't in real life and every car I've driven so far under steers like a pig and most won't slide, even a C7 corvette.

Maybe I just need to get used to it after GT5, but I've completed about half the game and it still feels strange.

Arcadey racing and flight sim games hold no appeal to me. I play iRacing. Theres a 170hp Diesel DSG Jetta in it. And yes, its actually pretty fun to drive.

Have you turned all the aids off ??

Just use ABS on number one and thats it.

Yes, all aids off, I've been experimenting with ABS.

I'm loving this game, they physics do feel different, much easier to spin the car if you get even just a wheel onto the grass under braking.

Really enjoyed the good wood missions. Got them all gold and won some pretty cool cars.

Gutted that the Ferrari F1 cars are now missing :-(

The sounds are still terrible, although the new cars that have been added from GT5 - GT6 do sound a little better apart from the BMW M3 GT race car which sounds like a 1.2 TSi.

Over all great game. Add me on PSN if you fancy a race!

My gamer tag is badgerface1989

I liked the goodwood events too, it gives quite a good representation of a real hill climb.

Likewise, add me. I think my PSN name is bubbledobbey

Also, out of interest, does anyone use a wheel??

LOL....Just realised this thread is about a Video Game...LOL
