Hi guys,

I know this has probably been repeated numerous times but can't find on my phone.

I think my clutch is starting to slip in 4th & 5th gear, so I need a new clutch soon, however what do I need to go for and where's the best place to get them also along with the flywheel what should I go for, not much knowledge in these areas so any help would be great.

How much am I looking to have to spend on both these?

Also my car at the moment is running around 210bhp and about 320ft lbs custom map been turned down to try to save the clutch.

Looking to be running around 250+ bhp when all done

Majority will probably say a helix smf, looking at about £900

If going for a dmf clutch eg paddle one do you need to replace the dmf?

I've just bought a cg Motorsport smf dual clutch for £450 delivered but believe the offer has ended

Helix. Did no one tell you you'd probably need to sort the clutch when running that kinda power/torque?

Can't afford at helix this time before Christmas. And not really, got the power turned down to try to stop it.

Allard vt2 hybrid turbo, seatsport front mount, egr delete, full turbo back 2.5" system, custom map with launch control and a limiter.

Wish I could afford a helix :(

Darkside offer a sachs dmf and uprated clutch for £525 or with a uprated Sachs clutch for £710

We can supply the same for £500 delivered on the VRs. We also have SMF's and a lightweight SMF

What would the chatter be like with the light weight smf?

Cheers for the heads up, and difference between a uprated DMF & SMF, not good with clucthes :(
