Hoping someone can help me, as I am struggling to install VCDS onto my new (new to me) Laptop.

I have got a genuine VCDS Lead, and tried to download the software from Ross Tech's Website (Version 12.12), and seems to install just fine, untill it attempts to install the USB drivers.

Laptop is a Packard Bell Easynote TJ65 running Window's Vista, All genuine, and everything else seems to work fine in the USB ports.

I am no computer genius, but know enough to get me by (Normally), but I am stumped with this one.

Please someone help me.

What are the errors you get?

Do you have any screenshots?

Are you running the installation in Administrator mode?

decided it is finally time to catalog all the bits n pieces I've done to Gandalf (MY17 Superb 162TSi). its been 3.5 yrs, and a lot has been done, but u wouldn't think that looking at it. below is full listing of everything I've done. all things small, and some big. Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
