Join the Pact

Featured Replies

With the festive season approaching fast and the temptation for a tipple..

Why not join the pact?

If its like Clique' im in !!  :giggle:  :giggle:

But on a serious note I hope the bobbies go mad on it again this year, I think its on the rise again

Hope there's plenty of drink-drive stop checks again this Christmas, totally unacceptable practice, should be punished more severely imo

They have already caught two people in Marlborough ....one of them has only had his license for two months

What an idiot.

I was breath tested in Dec 2005 after an (no fault) accident. They said it was just part of their Christmas campaign and, as I was driving, I hadn't had a drink anyway. I'm all for it, shame they only really ramp it up at Christmas. I'm sure people who drive around ****ed don't care what time of year it is.

Last year, the Birmingham police pulled in both me and my sister as part of their Christmas campaign.

More power to their elbow, I say.

And as jOhn has hinted, make it a year-round campaign - for drink and drugs.

when my local scrapyard closes over the christmas period, they bring out one of the steel racks from the yard with a forklift and then place a crumpled wreck of a crashed car on the top so you can see it from the road as you go by, i thought it was quite a poignant message they are sending out tbh, they do it every year

Saw something similar on a crash hot spot last year.

I don't drink, so that's a plus. Drink drivers infuriate me!
