Fitting factory Xenon headlights ?

Featured Replies

Hi all, is it difficult to fit xenon headlights to my standard Octavia, with regards to wiring? I'm thinking of buying xenon headlights but if it's too difficult to fit, I'll give it a miss :-) Thanks all

I have OEM xenons on mine...the only bad thing is that I lost the up-down moving....other than that I use some wire harness sold on ebay and they worked fine...

Do you have a link to the wire harness you used off eBay?:-)

Hi, i didn't end up buying the OEM xenon's as I didn't gain enough information on how to do this sadly :-( I know forum member, Gee-Rs has done this to his octy, but don't know how :-(

Basically Gee used the internal lamp loom from the halogen lamp, and modified it with parts from the xenon loom to get the relevant lamps to run an hid kit. As far as I know he has not solved the headlamp level yet, But I am experimenting with mk 2 ford focus level motors on my lamps at the moment. I just need to get a piece of loom from a donor ford car to establish the planes of operation and I think I may have it sorted.
