Torsion Value

Featured Replies

I've set the torsion to 0.35 as it was showing -1.86 previously. (Inlet cam)

The car now pulls much better at low rpm but has lost a little poke at the higher revs, I can live with that.

Question is, does anybody know how to really adjust the rear exhaust cam? I've set it up so its similar to the front, but the bolt spacing is kinda different and I'm not sure its perfect.

Its a 2.0 TDI PD VRS BMN

Car seems to be smoother and I'm getting better mpg around town, so I may just leave it :)

Bumping this up, I've to look at an A3 with this BMN engine which is smokey when idling from cold. I've checked the timing on VCDS and I'm not happy with what it was (forgotten now what it was, possibly 5?)

Is there a guide on how to adjust via VCDS and what it should be reset too?

Thanks in advance

Andy
