Just wonder if anyone used anything other than the standard and quite rare standard heated switches, on their MK1 fabia......however I imagine Octy and Golf ones maybe too big to fit in the dash ?

Yes I used the ones that came with my kit

I have the proper fabia switches, but I still haven't bothered to disassemble it all to figure out how to wire them in.

Where did you get them from and how much ?

Did you mount those aftermarket into dummy switches ?

 

I can see why you'd go original as they stand out but they serve a purpose at the end of the day, and you've fitted them neatly.
