As title. Selling the car and id preffer to hace it working for new owner. Any help it appriciated

I'm not 100% sure but i did read this in a old thread on here, if it's the original CD player from your car, it should automatically sort itself out after a few hours

Have you tried fitting it yet?

Mine sorted itself out within 5 minutes last time I took it out. But I know mine is coded to the car, not requiring that 4 digit safe code.

If it doesnt sort itself out. Skoda main dealers can get it. Shud cost about £10-£20

Or your local independent car audio shop would probably be able to do it for a lot less, paid £5 on my previous car

Pop into Skoda and be all nice and chatty and I'm sure they'll do it for free :)

I did this recently as I lost mine and my battery died, I know everyone says give it 2 minutes, give it 5 minutes give it 30 minutes give it a few hours. But it just didn't work for me so off to Skoda I went :)
