What are the codes & spec's for our cars ? I ask this as,I'm looking to upgrade all my bulbs to white light emitting ones.

Apparently it's not in all of them, depends on the version

People on here tend to go for night breakers for the headlamps

I have just fitted a set of the Osram Night Breaker Unlimited, definatley whiter and brighter, £17.99 incl delivery off ebay

I've ordered these today XTec 501 Chrome Amber Indicator Sidelight Bulbs 12v/5w & 9006 5W CREE SMD LED HIGH POWER SUPER WHITE FOG LAMP BULBS .

I got 5w CREE fog lights and they are not worth it, they don't light up anything in the fog. I upgraded to a bulb with more 5w CREE chips in it, 6 of them so the output in lumens is much greater.

Oh,I've got the same type for my drl's

They work great as DRL but they don't cut through the fog like I hoped. The alleged 30w ones are better.

Are they canbus ?

There are no error codes on the dash so I assume they either are or the fogs aren't monitored

I'm beginning to think there are no bulbs monitored by the Canbus!!

 

Apparently the the DRL's aren't either!!

That's because to cut through fog you need a yellower light not white.

Unless you are using your fogs with your sidelights all rhw time then why bother with led fogs?
