Tasty! Volvo are churning out some lovely stuff now that they've escaped the suffocation of Ford. One of the neighbours has a rather lovely new S60 in black, looks a lovely if compact car. 

Weirdly though all the work by polestar had only added about 40 odd bhp. I still want one though!!

I want one :love: In the right colour it would be a right sleeper. Reminds me of the 850r which I've got a soft spot for. Saying that I've got a soft spot for most fast Volvo's.

Google the 500bhp+ concept which I think they made 10 of or something... 200k though!

It was probably the 4.4 litre v8. They sure do shift for a big car

Polestar has really good co-operation with Volvo - you can remap your car without losing dealer warranty. 

 

I've also re-mapped my own V70 in Polestar (from 205 Hp / 420 Nm to 225 Hp / 460 Nm). It is really nice remap, acceleration become more smooth and even fuel economy improved a bit (to 7.8L from 8.2L/100 km).

 

It's a pitty that Volvo will stop producing 5 and 6 cyl engines - they are so nice and with good potential for re-map.
