Is there any way I can connect my iPhone or iPad into the system. The telephone system doesn't recognise iPhones. Thanks otherwise best car I have ever had

Welcome to the forum.

Yes - three ways keeping it OE.

  1. Look in the armrest to see if there is a 3.5mm Aux socket, but a cable to connect the headphone output of your iPhone to the 3.5mm socket;
  2. Change the Bluetooth (BT) module under the driver's seat (assuming you already have one) that works with Hands Free Protocol (HFP) and is compatible with the iPhone and you'll get phone calls and audio streaming;
  3. Add the Media Device Interface (MDI) to the Columbus and have full control of the phone from the head unit and also charge the phone.

Search this forum for the one you like the sound of and you'll find a lot of information available. Or ask your questions in the Superb or ICE (In Car Entertainment) sections if you can't find the answers you need.

Welcome.
