Evening all,

I have been reading this forum over and over in the build up to the delivery of my diesel vRS estate, which arrived 2 weeks ago. Coming from a liquid yellow r26 megane, but performance is not as far lagging behind as anticipated.

Loving the grown up car, except for the washers that don't sit back in the bumper! Hope to learn a lot from you all and pass on wisdom as I become an experienced skoda owner - a lot of the tips for the megane involved cable ties.....

Anyway misuses uses the car for the school run and I get to taxi everyone around on the weekend... Yet to meet a friendly vrs driver that flashes/waves - you guys and girls not that kind of community, or worried about flashing a cop? Number plate t222vrs is you see me

Welcome, hope you're loving the car? Still waiting for mine :( but im sure it'll be worth it!?! There were plenty of fixes for the old mkii's which involved cable ties so im sure you'll feel right at home!

This is one of those "surely there must be a solution, but suspect it's a feature" rather like the issue where you can accept a phne call from a button on the steering wheel but not end it! I like to listen to recordings on a USB stick with material ripped from CDs and other sources. Each collection/album is in a file. If I set the system playing tracks from 'album X', I expect to return to the same album after parking and leaving the car. However, all to often the car starts playing music from

Good morning everyone, I need your help resolving an issue I can't seem to resolve, even with the help of Skoda customer service. I purchased a Superb Style, registered in Italy in 11/2024 (steering wheel with Skoda logo, not lettering), with the Lounge Design setup (the seats are electric except for the forward movement which is manual and does not have position memories). As some of you have probably realized I'm crazy about converting factory radio / navigation into Android tablet. To be more detailed: in adding Android tablet functionality into factory radio / navigation system. First time I made in in my Superb II MY12 with Columbus. Second time I added this feature to Bolero in my Fabia III. And now I have adopted Amundsen MIB STD2 infotainment system (from new Yeti) to be used in the same Superb (I was a bit tired with Columbus) and equipped wit with Android

Hey skoda nerds (affectionate) I'm looking to see if someone could recommend a way to diagnose the a/c leak I have on the early 1.6 petrol. I was going to take it to a garage today for a diagnosis but they were short staffed and had to postpone. In talking to a guy at the reception, he then said they would only be able to confirm there is a leak but not where from, so not very helpful. I rang around and the UV die test is around £150, very expensive if you ask me just for diagnosis. Funny enoug

I'm very happy with my Mk.SEL except for the somewhat harsh ride. Previous VW's had a 'comfort' setting for tyre pressures so would it be sensible to reduce the presures on the 16" tyres by about 4psi from the normal settings of 37psi/ 40psi ? I'd be very grateful for comments.
