Whilst I don't have a diesel myself I known it is a popular mod for a lot of diesel owners. Would appear the government have caught onto this as well. Wonder if it is just a visual inspection so if you still had the dpf section but with the inside removed would it still pass?

Someone has made the point that the DPF is hidden above the undertray so they can't see it anyway, and they are not allowed to take the undertray off as it counts as dismantling?

You if they can't see it they can't test it.

 

My vx220 had a total aluminium under tray meaning not very much got inspected/tested at mot time.
