Can anybody recommend any decent cleaning products for gear knobs and steering wheels?

Many creams are available its the ambience when they are applied which is important . 

that has GOT to be worth a google search..lol... Now dare I ??

Gliptone. Have rubbed it into my knob many times and it keeps it clean and soft.

Thanks all, over the Christmas period the appropriate lotion was purchased and I have to say the issue has cleared up nicely..... :think:

After reading this topic I realised that this was an area of detailing that I had previously ignored so after some thought I decided this was something best carried out by an expert rather than doing a DIY job. 

 

After doing some searches in Google I was surprised how many people seem to offer a knob polishing service - mostly young ladies from hot climates given the amount of clothing they were wearing. This was the beginning of my trouble as after visiting some of the websites to glean further information I was shocked by what I saw. Unfortunately my ISP have now written to me to inform me that I have breached their user agreement and are threatening to disconnect me. I have written to say it is all a misunderstanding and inform them that I just need my knob polished but they forwarded my letter to the police who are coming to interview me and have confiscated my computer.

 

Should I be worried?

You need a leather cleaner then a protector.
